Happy Thanksgiving...

To all those celebrating tomorrow, best wishes and I hope you all have much to be thankful for.

As usual, I am offering $1000 cash, to anyone who will take my place at my inlaws tomorrow.

I'd like to spend Thanksgiving day with a decent american family once. It's one of those "days" that are understood everywhere. A very, very nice tradition (And I do realise what a stress it can be, as well  :o/).

    Yes, happy Thanksgiving to all!

And... I'm baking a cake (albeit a rather cheesy one) for the occasion.

... cheesecake that is (and yes it will be very gooooooooood).

    Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Spending the day at my wife's grandfathers retirement home. He's not doing well and wanted everyone to come spend the day there because he wasn't feeling well enough to travel. They supposedly make a great meal for the families when they come to visit. We'll see how it goes.

You never give us enough time to buy a ticket, Randy!  :)

We're going to our youngest son's, probably because they have the most kids and the biggest house.  (or they don't want to come here?)  And the daughters-in-law planned the whole thing and just asked me to bring a few sides.  Sounds good to me!  I may go early and help my son with some house projects. And then try to spoil the 4 grandkids a bit.

Hope you all have a wonderful holiday.  I vote we have 4 day weekends every week, btw!

Good luck, Greg!  I hope you get time and a half at least!

    Hi,

    I would gladly have gone.

At 62 -- and yesterday was my birthday -- family gatherings don't bother me, and none can be worse than my own family ... one of the most dys-functional bunch of ____________ you ever saw or met!

At any rate, hopefully all went well for you and family.

As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!
