Hard Drive Configurations - SX1c

Anyone using a SSD + 7200rpm drive + External Drive ( Kontakt4) samples?

C:\ Internal SSD> OS ONLY  - Win7 64
D:\ Internal 7200> all software Installs (Sonar / Vienna / GPO / Dimension Pro,  etc.
F:\ External 7200> All Sample Content
G:\ External 7200> RECORD to this drive only

Is there an advantage to using a SSD for OS only?
I have no real world test on this, but it seems like it would work, what are your thoughts?

thanks for the links. (do you use these SSD?)

...now that i see the price vs Storage i may reconsider going 7200 for both internal drives.
BTW, this will be a Laptop config.

Plus Most Programs have a default install path to the C:\ drive right? I'm not sure 120 gig will be enough space.
...and all the USB dongle license (5 total) some of the samplers use.

There's no real benefit in separating the apps and OS to different drives. Indeed, Sonar is a notably good citizen in this regard; gets itself into memory at launch and does very little drive access after that, apart from streaming audio.
