Hard drive prices skyrocket!

Thailand is the #2 supplier of hard drive parts, and the flooding there has cause a worldwide shortage of HDDs!

Prices nowadays are unbelievably high, and supply is very short.  This could go on till March or April of 2012.

    Prices nowadays are unbelievably high, and supply is very short.
    Something similar happened with RAM in 1993.  The sudden scarcity made it a target for theft.  Thieves were breaking into office buildings and stealing RAM sticks from PCs.
