Hardware VST hosts?

Has anyone used a hardware box such as 'Receptor' or 'Plugzilla' to run VSTs outside the computer?

What's your experience with these things? Did all your plugins work on them?

Thinking of using it live instead of a laptop on stage...

Thanks a bunch,

Albert
