Has Anyone Tried the Groove Three Free Pass?
I registered and I've tried to use it, but I can only find Sonar X1 videos... (Cakewalk Coverage)
Am I missing something?

Yes-well x2 explained is there and Z3ta2. But there are a few general mix, etc videos also-for free for 30 days-plenty there.

So I registered and received email confirmation. My account shows I bought one product for 0$, it has my subscription code, it tells me I have access to the G3 FREE Web Pass but when I select Watch Videos and choose a video they all say "not ordered" and "purchase". There's no way to watch them. So what have you guys done that I haven't ?

For me the video player appears, at is does if I choose to watch the free videos. Funny I just noticed, in my order history I have an order number and for it, it says I bought something called "," just a comma, for a price of 0$ to which I applied "Coupon saving" with my cakewalk code for 0$ for a total of 0$.

Go to the main Groove 3 page and select "My Account/My Products" and you should get a screen that says: "All-Access Pass" and a clickable box that says: "Watch Videos".
The G3 pass was a special offer (from Groove 3 for signing up) for limited free videos and has nothing to do with the X2 All Access pass.

Log in then go to "My Account/Redeem Your Code" and paste the X2 all-access code from your Cake account there. Worked for me.

Wow-Just the alloy 2 video alone is amazing for me. You guys should check it out if you don' t have alloy 2. Yopu will see how amazing it is. I have learned a ton just watcg tthose videos only. The guy really explains in laymans terms all the modules, limiters, side chaining, dynamics, etc. Great video

I had to use explorer versus chrome to see all the videos. It works fine now.

I know what it's like to be poor Keni. I haven't had any problems with it and spent about 2 hours checking it all out. Lots of info there. Try redoing everything but make sure you use their code. Hope it works for you!

@paul P I have the same problem. I think it used the code for a generic free pass authorization. Their site is somewhat confusing and in hindsight, probably should have looked here in the forum first before going to the site.

I think it used the code for a generic free pass authorization. Yeah, it looks like that. I tried all sorts of things at first, not know really what I was supposed to be doing. Thought I had to fill in the huge form for purchases, then discovered that I only had to register as a user. My code got used up along the way. I know I entered it multiple times until it started telling me is was no longer active. I hope they get back to me quickly, the clock is maybe ticking away... I'll report back when I get an answer.

@Keni You might have missed the last step which is to click "submit order". Afterwards, an invoice page (with Total: $0.00) is issued and you're good to go.

stonehedge and others - I just got a reply from groove3 and they've fixed my account. I now am able to view the videos. I'm happy ! I have a feeling a lot of things I have to do in the next 30 days won't get done...

Bah! They just give you a few videos from a restricted subset of offerings. Good for preview purposes if you've never bought anything from Groove3, but hardly a boon to anyone. The free-battery-a-month club at Radio Shack was more useful.

I haven't seen any restrictions - everything appears to be available for viewing (green arrows next to the vids).

Like Paul P, I too have been fixed by a nice person named Tony from Groove3. All is well and enjoying watching the video clips. Everything is available. Anyone having problems should definitely contact them. They are very quick to respond.
