Has anybody noticed that Sonar X1 D- consistently crashes, when you double click on the...

master track...

I guess it takes a newbie to notice things..  I reckon, "in Sonar, there is absolutely no reason to double click on the master track."

Well..  I was double clicking, trying to add a limiter**  and btw, I did figure out how to insert fx, but not onto the master yet..  but erm..  if you double click on the master track...  Windows 7 64 bit, Sonar X1 D 64 bit..

well.. at least I get a totally repeatable crash.

Cheers

That's weird..  Where are you guys clicking?  I have the entire console exposed...  I've made a screen video, its a 10 megabyte download, and for security reasons...  This link is going to break within the next hour or so...

I looked at your video-  First of all, that's not the master bus you are clicking on, the master bus is usually just a bus that you route all your tracks to.  You can insert effects into that bus just like any other.  You're looking at your sound card "mains" outputs.  Those are usually set up for input from the master bus, but there are lots of other possibilities for other outputs and mixes.

I couldn't duplicate the crash when I clicked in the same area. Maybe somthing to do with your setup.

    Good luck,

    John

Absolutely..  I see where the master is now..  thanks.  LOL, I'm so used to looking all the way over to the right.  And its next to the metronome track.  That is going to take me a while to get used to..

    Thanks again
