Has anyone else seen this in X1?
The GUI frozen up with three 'Track Views' - and the 'Inspector' hiding underneath the 'real' one. Remarkably it still played the project OK Edit to add: Ironically, I was going to post this in the X1 forum last night, but as you can see from my taskbar when I took the screenshot, the forum was up the swanee at the time

The GUI frozen up with three 'Track Views' - the whole problem as far as I can tell from your screen shot - if that is indeed your real screen shot -- is that you have too many markers inserted in just 8 measures of time its common knowledge that is over the 2 marker limit per 8 measures therefore you get the GUI freeze ok - on a serious note - - back in version 5 and 6 of sonar I had a low performing computer - where when I got a lot of plug ins going - the screen would freeze - but the audio would play fine - unless i froze tracks - but that was a way low performing celeron CPU at 2,0ghz or something 5 or 6 years ago I know that dont help you or anything - just saying I've had that happen to me 5 or 6 years ago

Have seen some very odd things. Multiple track views on rewind. Cursor/mouse point disappears on right click. Slow and I mean slow response to mute or other track buttons. No rant here just my observations.

I think a mask of James T. Kirk was the spark for Halloween so anything's possible... There's a Manual? Is there an Elizabeth?? Got any Jacks? I've read some help files as needed and watched a lot videos.

I think the mystery gets created here. I'm running X1 on a computer that should never be a DAW and it still works. I haven't even applied any of the tweeks to the OS or Sonar that I know need to be done. I watched my onboard Windows based soundcard fight Sonar the other day for dominance just to make the mail delivery sound. I wish I was a computer code genius and could instantly tell which process in the OS was asking for scheduling time in the chipset and processor while Sonar was using the system for streaming, modifying, writing data, and holding enough resources open to do the job. What a wicked art this is.

mgh the real mystery is that Strummy appears to be using Internet Explorer as his browser... Mark, I persisted with Firefox but after a while my CPU jumps up to about 75% and the culpable process in Task Manager is called Firefox Plug-ins or Add-ons or something. I know I must be doing something wrong but when I close the FF browser, my CPU drops back to nothing Beag would know what to do... Reece?! C'mere boy --- becan, here's some becan for the good little pooch ... c'mon, here's the becan... c'mere ... c'mon ... there's a good boy..... etc
