Has anyone re-arranged a song into a DUBSTEP style ?

Just wondering if anyone out there has composed a Dubstep style song, or re-arranged one of their existing songs into that style?
If so, did you use any VSTs or other plug-ins to help you?

I tried writing one recently. It's kind of a mix of DnB and dubstep. I don't usually write this type of music, but I wanted to give it a try. Anyway check it out here . I used some synths from http://kunz.corrupt.ch/ and a few synths from Sonar. The noise stuff came from a vst called glitch http://togeostudios.com/ts-blog/free-resources/dblue-glitch-free-vst-effect/ . There is a lot of good free stuff out there if you spend some time looking. Good luck

I am working on a couple of Dubstep pieces, and I've remixed a hip hop song into dubstep. For the most part, I like Dreamstation for bass/sub+tons of synth sounds, Superwave P8 for wobble+strings, TAL NoiseMaker is EXCELLENT for wobble basses and some other things, and Super Spook Keys for a screechy synths sound. Sorry I've no links, as I'm posting from mobile; I do think these are all free, however. Here's the list again:

    • Dreamstation DXi2 (usually comes with Cakewalk products, or mine, at least)
    • Superwave P8
    • TAL NoiseMaker
    • Super Spook Keys
