I just did full wipe and reinstall of my studio computer. Installed Sonar Platinum, and had zero problems.

    You should be fine.

A deep chesty bawl echoes from rimrock to rimrock, rolls down the mountain, and fades into the far blackness of the night. It is an outburst of wild defiant sorrow, and of contempt for all the adversities of the world. - Aldo Leopold

2 weeks ago I received my new computer and through the command center I downloaded and installed everything. All works fine. Hassle to re install all plugins from 3rd party sites I had, but had to do it. I was incidentally logged out of CC twice and put in demo mode. After logging back in, no problem. I have the owned version of Platinum. I emailed today whoever might be there to accept my concern as to why I would get logged out. Never happened on my other computer. Maybe a conflict of sorts. Maybe something to do with windows. No Clue. Let's see if support returns my email. I was issued a ticket number. As of today everything works great.

I have done both CCC and without using CCC, CCC is faster and manages everything so you don't need to second guess what you have and what you don't have. But the offline install also works just the same and there's no difference once your finished. Only Sonar it self still need some sort of authorization from the servers. Everything else can use the serial numbers you have on your products page.
I'm installing Sonar on all my computers as well as I also just updated my main DAW computer with a new SSD drive for long levity.

I have done an install via CCC on a brand new W10 (1709) notebook and everything went fine. No incidental logout or whatever. These type of "errors" can also be caused by bad connections and may not have anything to do with CCC.

Yes. I put Sonar Platinum and all the add-ons on a dedicated micro-workstation with Windows 7 Pro 64-bit (stable OS, not going to be getting anything other than security updates). Fresh clean install of Sonar via the Command Center (and then the full thing backed up with a System Image).

Now I need to migrate my projects over to the new box and "retire" the other box to a life of playing video games and internet surfing. I will also need to test the add-ons. The quick test I did looks good.
