Has anyone tried GT3 with Windows 7 yet? Does it work better then Vista?

I have been having some problems with GT3 with Vista, and will soon have Windows 7. Has anyone tried GT3 with Windows 7?

I can't vouch for GT3, but I have GT4 running on Windows 7 and it seems to work just fine. I had GT3 running on Vista ok too.

What kind of problems are you having?

    4 GB DDR2 RAM
    500 GB 7200RPM HDD
    512MB Nvidia Geforce 8800GT
    Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
    Guitar Tracks Pro 4
    Line 6 POD Studio UX1
    Digitech RP355

    Thanks for responding.

The main problem I am having is a constant signal when I push the "Record-arm" button. The signal spikes right up.

I have tried to determine what else might be running behind the scenes that might cause this signal, like anti-virus software etc., but can not find anything to turn off.

I have also gone into windows  playback to reduce the mic-signal, and even turned it all the way down, and still a constant signal is there.

I have unplugged my M-audio interface and still a signal from within my laptop somewhere.

I did not have this problem with XP.

    Smartdiamond,

If you can swing it, I would recommend the upgrade to GT4 Pro.  It is much more stable and efficient and will utilize your dual core processor more effectively.  Also, I am pretty sure that it is vista compatible (whereas, GT Pro 3 was written for XP).

I think the upgrade is $49 through MF.
