Has the issue w/ time-based effects been addressed in X2???

Not sure if this has been addressed but the issue w/ fast bouncing time based effects in X1d has been noted quite a few times on the forum.  Has this been fixed in X2???

I recently worked on a dance/dubstep production that included a lot of Effectrix and automation and let's just say it turned into a bit of a nightmare.  I tried to freeze some of the tracks but you have to do a real time bounce, which led to another issue.  Any track w/ an automation envelope seems to always bounce the entire length of the song if you do a real time bounce.  Even if that particular part is only a few seconds long and only occurs once later in the song.  So basically you may have a 5 second clip that takes 4-5 mins to freeze or bounce if it has a time-based effect w/ automation on it.  If you have a few of these short types of clips then you can see how the process can become long and cumbersome.  Maybe someone might know a way around this or way to get Sonar to bounce only the length of the clip instead of the entire song???

6 mos now we've suffered through realtime bouncing. Sucks!!! There SHOULD have been an update for X1 or a quick fix. The fact that they Broke it without even knowing it, then left that as the Final X1 patch is Bull****! That is NOT supporting the PAYING customers. That being said, They've stated that Fastbouncing timedcode plugins IS fixed in X2. Won't know for SURE till they put it out. Their idea of something 'working' can be vary skewed from mine. :)

Thanks blogman.  Hadn't seen any comments from them on the matter.  Good to know that it at least seems to have been addressed though.

I've upgraded but I do agree that despite them moving on to X2 there are a few issues w/ X1 that should be patched or fixed due to them being such major flaws w/in the program.  Especially when it's something that was working then got broken the way the time based effects functionality did.

Unfortunately from comments I've seen from them it sounds like they have no intentions on doing so which is a bit sad.
