Hats off to Craig and the CW staff

I've been watching the storm of threads and posts here for a couple days and overall I'm pretty amazed by Craig and the Cakewalk staff patiently answering the same questions over and over again. I regularly make a PITA out of myself not to diss the product but to try to make it better for what I do, the squeaky wheel gets the oil so they say.
I have no problem with the membership model, I been buying the updates for years now anyway, there really isn't a lot of difference.
I just wanted to say thanks for putting up with us.

PS fix the damn notation view! sheesh.

Yeah, wouldn't it be nice if there were 36 pages of appreciation for the bakers and Craig.
I feel like I am investing in Cakewalk and my return is this continually expanding fabulous product.
I am glad to be here and very glad they all are!

StudioCat > I use Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum. I have a touch screen.
I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

+1zillion!

I just got my invite!  soooo excited and broke.  Solution?  Subscribe for a month or two till I get Stratosphere then buy, resetting the 12 month clock and securing the deal!  This is just another advantage of the awesome flexibility they've "Baked" into their new system.

And I admire the patience shown to lazy, stupid or flamer freaks cluttering up the threads with redundant questions...especially with negative tones that are thoroughly unjustified.  OY!

Mr. Anderton is a wonder.  His presents here has been a real asset to all of us. As a host I try to emulate him. I try but I fall far short. In a way he is a mentor to us all. We are very lucky to have him.

Best

I'd appreciate Craig a whole lot more if he comped me 12 month upfront upgrade to Platinum. Then I could cancel my pre-order.

Craig is awesome.  Anybody remember how much hair he had in the little photo next to the electronic music column he used to write in Popular Electronics?  :)

(Sorry Craig, couldn't resist.)

No, but I used to read his column and schematics in Guitar Player. Never built any of it but it was pretty interesting.

Why is the saying, "Hats off"?...

Wouldn't it be construed as higher praise if we started saying, "Pants off"?...

Pants off to you Cakewalk! Pants off indeed!

Actually, I have just as much hair as always. It's just flesh-colored now

But seriously, thank you so much for the props. You have no idea how much it means to me, especially because I consider it as coming from my peers. We're all in this together.

One other thing I should mention is that I've done a lot of forum stuff over the years, and the SONAR community is an amazingly helpful and intelligent bunch of people. I love that newbies can come in here and get answers from veterans, and that the veterans are open to new ideas. I've had a lot of my questions answered here over the years. When I post a tip of the week it's not out of a sense of duty, but payback to the forum.

I'm sure many of you have noticed how closely the new features in Platinum track forum requests that have been made. This is what I mean about SONAR being a partnership between Cakewalk and the community. And also, a lot (if not most) of the bug fixes are due directly to someone being able to reproduce a problem and send it to CW for evaluation.

Although we have the occasional troll they usually end up going away of their own accord because they find this isn't really a good environment for trolling. It's YOU, not me or the CW staff, who are the reason for that.
