Have you ever sold a plugin...

...only to realize months or years later you used it in an important project that you want to revisit?

Damn, I need a sale on the Waves TG12345.

I'm somewhat of a "plugin keeper" and am "trying" to only buy stuff I know I'll be keeping. Luckily, I haven't run into your situation James (yet), and have sold them before using them in a project (or just collecting virtual dust).

With all the Waves deals going around, I'm sure Larry will find you a good deal on it.

the only one i ever sold was musiclab realguitar, because i thought investing time in learning a real guitar would be better spent than learning a guitar sim :-)

Trying to go the same way myself. I am very selective on my freebies too. Has to be a name brand product or have some other compelling reason. The only thing I need less than another Comp or EQ is another free comp or EQ.

It's Bass, not Bass.

Thanks Larry - I saw that but it's his first post and I'm like a frightened child because of it! lol

I suppose I could ask him to send me a Paypal invoice and I could pay that. That would give me protection right?

If that's his 1st post, I'd be a bit patient James and possibly avoid some unnecessary drama/headaches/aggravation......unless

I could have gotten it for just over $100 for the cyber deals. That still doesn't feel deep enough on this guy. It didn't have any real deep discounts through November, so maybe this one will show up on a one day deal soon...

It goes on sale for around $79 generally, then some coupon/retailer extra discounts on top of that.  But you may have to wait.

I've sold things that plug in, but never a plug-in.  I did accept a plug-in once from a guy that gave it away because he already had 4 copies.

I do read them every day - just luck of the draw that I realized I needed it AFTER the sale.

James, The TG12345 is a nice plug-in but I don't use it. I had intensions of using it but haven't found much use for it. I would be more than happy to sell it to you but haven't a clue how to go about it.
