Haven't received a serial code yet

Hi, I've purchased Music Creator 3 download version from Cakewalk.com. It has been two days and I haven't received a serial code yet. Only an order confirmation email.

I already sent an email to their customer service about the problem yesterday. But haven't received a responce yet.

Do I miss something?

Hi Beagle. I'm not yet given a serial code, so I can't register it via the link on the cakewalk.com main page. They just sent me an order confirmation email after my purchase, nothing else.

My purchase was a download version so I guess I should receive a serial number email right after my purchase, so that I could install the software and register it. But nothing yet :(

I received two seperate mails, one receipt and one with the code in. Both arrived within minutes of placing my order (on a Sunday! Actually the Sunday before last).

I'm currently away from home but I know that download version comes with a single installer. Nothing else. And it keeps asking for a Serial Number to install the software, which I've yet to be sent.

Thanks for confirming... Yeah, I did purchased it last Sunday, and only received an order confirmation email. I've contacted them 6 hours later via the link: http://www.cakewalk.com/About/csr.asp but it has been 3 days and I'm yet to receive a responce. This is becoming quite boring for me as a new Cakewalk customer who is considering to upgrade to Sonar, sooner or later.

Is there any other/faster way to contact support (other than the telefone numbers, as I'm in Turkey) via email?

Well, one way - the slowest way - is to mail them in the old way. Their address is on the contact site. Personally I would wait for an e-mail or call them.

Are you sure that the email with the serial didn´t go to a junk mail folder or got sorted out by an antivirus software?

Well, it has been almost 6 days... I hope someone will response from Cakewalk, one day.....

tg - are you bumping this thread in hopes that a CW forum admin will see it and help you out with your problem?

I doubt it will help. Not that I don't sympathize with you, but I think you're going to HAVE to get a response from CW Tech support either by email or phone. And while I completely understand that you don't want to use your money calling CW internationally (and would be under the same conundrum myself), I'm afraid you're not going to get any responses from CW in this forum and it will have to be thru CS.

I really do feel bad for you, maybe you can call them and ask them if they will refund you the priced of your phone call (as long as it's their fault that the download link didn't get sent to you!). don't know if that will work - but it might.

I would also suggest sending them MORE emails - maybe it will get their attention if you continue to ask.
