Head in the Sand, another one-day project

Vocal take was really sucky - even by my low standards, so it's fragmented - enough for an idea of the flow - I'll have to re-track those soon.

Link is in the sig, rock song Head in the Sand.

Thanks for any comments. :)

No, I think for the genra, it sounds "amazing". The tone of those guitars, incredible. I can tell you've done this a couple of times :-) i.e., you have your pre-sets (which is a good thing). You have your plugs lined up, know which ones to use, in what order, and with what settings. I'm a JPriest fan, and the guitars make me think of that a little.

And I can't tune my *#@! Guitar in a day! Let alone record a song? I don't know how you do it...

    Terry,
This is not usually my genre, but man oh man, you have some great tone on those guitars, nice chops too. Excellent work for one day. Bravo.

Thanks, I have whittled away the custom presets (V Amp 2) and am pretty happy with them, it's also a result of EQ during mixdown - I'm always tweaking my presets for that.

I've just wanted to have fun recording - so I get the keyboard drums going and just play whatever comes out and add to it, I don't second guess anything when doing it like this, just play and build. It's fun and also great for learning.
    Thanks for listens.

Not bad for a one day project... The vocals could have been up front a bit more....Nice heavy feel to it.
