Hearing guitar through monitors while recording?

I've recently started using a Presonus 1818VSL Audiobox with Sonar Producer 8.5 but I have a problem . . .

Recording, playback and headphones are working fine but while up to now, I could hear my guitar/keyboard through the monitors while recording, I cannot since I started using the AudioBox.

Can anyone advise on how I can change my settings so that I can hear while recording?

Thanks!

Someone's out of tune and it's not me 'cause I tuned up last Sunday!

There must be software mixer for it , either that or it's totally lacking any controls for blending your input with the output. I would find that hard to believe anyone would make something like that for recording.

Enable echo button on track that is armed for recording.

Well that will work if his interface can run at below 5 ms Round trip latency.

I use an Audiobox 44VSL and it works fine with echo enabled. Otherwise, I'd have to monitor through the Audiobox itself, which I'd rather not do.

That would be the preferred method since there would be 0 latency.
