Hi Mike - thanks so much for listen.  I am using Ampire for this song.  Actually, I was checking it out and this song came out of it.

Paulo - I appreciate your comments - thank you!  I agree that the kick and bass could use more punch.

Hi Janet - You commented on the canons!  Hurray!  All good fun.  Yes, I did play the drums and more and more I am playing my Roland Vdrums into Superior Drummer 2 instead of using finger drumming.  Thanks much.

ohgrant - thanks so much for the kind words.

All the best to everyone,

Rimshot

Rimshot, really catchy tune you have here.  Lots of fun to listen to.  I'm listening on PC speakers and ear buds at work so take my comments with a grain of salt.

Yes! I heard the canon.  LMBO!  You're having fun with the song that's great!

The BGV sounded as if they we masked in reverb and tucked away in the back so I'm not sure if there is a different way to mix them in the song.  My comment is purely subjective.

Regarding the chanting of "Heart on Fire" the first time I heard it I cringed cuz it sounded kind of cheezy.  The second time I listen not so much.  I guess I knew it was coming and I didn't react the same.  Maybe if you could create the effect as if a large crowd chanting those words It might be better received from my end.

Overall, catchy tune, great mix and I loved the guitars!

Hi Rich,

Thanks for your listen and nice comments!  I was yelling "Hearts on fire!"  at the end.  I was thinking of the audience yelling that as though we were in a concert but I don't know how to get that with just me in my small studio!  I imagined it though and that's why I sang it like that.  You got the picture.

I also really did have fun with this.  I think it was my best lead guitar solo ever so all these nice compliments are completely making my week(s)!

All the best,

Rimshot
