Great tune, Bats. Love the spacey mood and synth work too. It definitely works as a record closer, for sure. Too bad I'm not at home to turn it up...I wanna hear it loud.

That was a great listen! It had a rock opera quality only with a very modern, clean, ear-candy everywhere mix. That must have been hella fun to cook up. Really good job. -Tom

Hi Rob, I know that you regularly delete stuff from your SoundCloud profile, so I'm going to stick my neck out and say this was uploaded last year. Not a problem... I thought it sounded great then, and I'm enjoying listening to it again now. You and Wookiee did a great job on this cheers andy

rock opera! hehe, when i think of rock opera, 'bat out of hell' always comes to mind. most of the heavy lifting was already done by wookiee, all i had to do was futz it up! daryl1968 Excellent mate.

this has been uploaded, and deleted, and uploaded again, a few times.... i rarely ever leave my stuff uploaded on soundcloud for very long, i'm always putting up different stuff, i switch it around a lot. i hope over time, different folk get to hear these tunes, so i re-post stuff every few months.... as i'm working on TWO new big projects now, i don't really have anything brand new to post. i would hope that folk that have never heard one of my 're-posts' before, would enjoy hearing them. and folks that have already heard them, will move on to the next guy that has something they HAVEN'T heard before...... so, i appreciate the 're-listen', and the long memory! :)

Yeah, Rob, I should have just commented on the tune, and not mentioned that. Apologies. One good feature of having a "Pro" account at SoundCloud is you have a "Spotlight" on your front page, so if I want to bring an old track up to the top, I just shuffle my spotlight tracks around. Seems to work. But I appreciate that not everyone wants to bother subscribing to SoundCloud... Each to their own cheers andy

Great guitar tone. Digging that fat synth too. I didn't expect the vocals but they're cool too. They surprised me. Good job.

HEY STEVE, i'm glad you listened again!! it's something that should be listened to..... at least once every 2 weeks. heheh. jmasno5 Great guitar tone. Digging that fat synth too. I didn't expect the vocals but they're cool too. They surprised me. Good job.
the vox, some like them, some don't... it certainly could stand as an instrumental; in fact, that's the way it started out. but i liked the idea of the vocal on it, thought it was worth the effort SiTheMon I like the spacey vibe of this, nice job
thanks si the mon, yep, it's pretty spacey! works very well when in altered states.

hey noisy, that's cool you like this stuff... i did it for you. :) guitars: it's fun trying ideas with an arrangement like this..... the options are many, so it's kinda wide open what things you try with the melodies and tones, the gain of the guitar rig, the volume of the actual recording.... most of the guitar 'effects' were done from my pedalboard, and not on mixdown. i spent quite a bit of time trying to find a guitar 'tone' that suits the synths.... i'm not sure if i nailed it or not.
