Hello Fellows

Hello, I am trying to fined a way to have Mono and Stereo instrument tracks. Is it possible? I would like to mix down without bouncing everything to audio tracks. I found the Stereo Mono option on the audio tracks, but can only turn them to Stereo, but don't have the option to pan the audio tracks to my taste when making a mix. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Blake

You might want to edit the thread title to be different form the other one. I thought it was the same one...

On the mixdown, the synths are bounced to audio. That's simply what happens in the mixdown. Perhaps you mean something else?

If a track (instrument/synth track) is rendered as stereo, I leave it that way. BUT..... I can still pan that track left & right in the larger stereo field in the mixdown. I do prefer to use mono tracks but they are also able to be panned.

Pictures might help..... show the track inspectors with the settings you have.  Everything, whether stereo or mono should pan

    [image]file:///C:/Users/Blake/Dropbox/photos/print.png[/image]Hello Guitarhacker,

Thanks again for the response. I have put a screan shot at the link below.

I am used to using Sonar 8 producer. I used to put a stereo reverb vst on to a instrument track, and the track would automatically turn in to a stereo instrument track, with the option to pan independently. I used to do all the panning before any mix down and then do one final mix down.

I am now using Music Creator, that is great for me as I am more of a song writer than a producer. I cant fined anyway to turn a instrument track in to stereo with the option to pan independently. I am now bouncing the instruments to audio, and activating the to stereo option on the Channel, but I still cant work out how I can pan that channel independently. Thanks, Blake

If you want answers I strongly recommend you to change the title of this thread. It's really a very, very poor idea to give identical names to threads, names, that don't even tell anything about the problem.
