Hello in There (cover) -- critique welcome

Hi all,
This is pretty close to done but I'd still welcome any constructive comments about how the mix / arrangement might be improved.

If you comment, please mention what you listened to it on (e.g. cans, monitors, phone speaker etc)
Also note that the underlying WAV file, which is closest to what I'd intended, is downloadable from Soundcloud.
(Finally, sorry, but the totally random track which SoundCloud plays after this has nothing to do with me. Anyone know how to prevent this?)

Everything's great except the transitions to the chorus...they're all sung flat.  Probably want to resing them rather than use melodyne.  Did you play and record the background instruments?  If so it's a good job.

Thanks. Which specific words are flat? My ear misses them...

Well it's most pronounced when you sing *stronger* and *day*.  But there are other spots where you don't quite get up to a higher note.

very nice - well performed and I really like your voice.
From a technical point of view, the voice sounded a bit 'squeezed' - all the bottom end rolled off - was that intentional?

by the way, I think I dated that monkey once......

Good song and good performances. As for the mix, there is a little mid range buildup in spots and the vocal sounds way too separated from everything else, IMO. A little panning would open up things as well.
