Hell's Bells - For the Tubular.Net Showcase

Here's a new one I prepared for our showcase on Tubular.Net (the Mike Oldfield fans forum)... it's almost 10 mins long...

It's a take on Tubular bells of course but no way a copy....

Thanks for listening...

Everything sounds good. A bit boring unless were all stoned and veged out. I appreciate the effort you put in. This mix is really good.

Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.

That's nice work. Very atmospheric track, love all the little details. More Gabriel than Oldfield until 2:20 perhaps, but good stuff whatever.

Nice sounds on the speakers ....the mix sounds pretty decent.

I have to admit that I jumped around in it a bit. Some of it was very repetitive. The big section from 2 to 6 minutes was one of them. I have a short attention span when listening to music. If it doesn't grab me, I can't hang.

Musically, I can appreciate the time and effort that you so obviously put into this project. The playing was excellent and the sound was very good as well. No nits that I can pick except for the repetitiveness of the music.

I'd probably have found it more interesting if it had been about 1/3 the length. But.... don't let me deter you from composing the music you hear in your head. After all, isn't that what it's all about?

    Good job on the music.
