Help File Location

I've downloaded the latest help file, and I'm using it.  I find it annoying, however, that I can't open it directly from the X2 Help dropdown.  I have to dig through my start menu to get to it.  Is there a way to get a shortcut to the help file into the Sonar menus?

The help file installed with the application. The F1 key should bring it up. You can control whether the F1 key always uses your local version of help in Preferences. The pdf version of the SONAR X2 Reference Guide is based on the original help file and has not been updated since. I suppose you could add the pdf to the utility menu via a registry edit but I have not bothered to attempt it. If I needed to, I would create a deskop shortcut or pin it to the start/taskbar. X2a installed an updated help file. The most recent help is on the Cakewalk website http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation/Default.aspx?Doc=SONAR%20X2&Lang=EN

    Found it.  Thanks!

Preferences -> File -> Advanced -> "Always Use Offline Help"

Now when I click a help topic in the Help menu it takes me to the local file rather than the internet.  I really didn't like having to be on the internet to use the help file.

Btw - I had already tried pinning it to the taskbar and Windows 7 wouldn't allow it.  It gave me the option to pin it to the X2 shortcut I have there, but when I tried to do that, it didn't actually work.  The closest I was able to get was a desktop shortcut.

An internet connection was never required to access SONAR help. The "Always Use Offline Help" forces SONAR to use the local help file without regard to the internet connection status of the machine. When not connected to the internet, SONAR also uses the local help file.
