Help!!! Imported midis will not play.....Audio Engine stops and will not restart!

Help!!! Imported midis will not play.....Audio Engine stops and will not restart!

Anybody else have this problem?  The audio engine stops as soon as I import a midi file.  It will not restart.  I test to make sure the sound is working before I import the midi file....but as soon as I import it AUDIO IS GONE!
I would appreciate anyone who has a great ides....I have worked on this for about 4 hours now, to no avail.

    Is the GS Wavetable Synth in your soundcard your only MIDI output? If so, try disabling that as an output under MIDI Devices, and insert an instance of the TTS-1 soft synth in the project before importing the MIDI.

    I had true pianos working in the project before I inserted the midi file....the audio engine stops working upon importing to that track

    The audio engine in all tracks stop working upon insertion....strangest thing.  Never ever had this happen before....can't quite get a grip why it is doing this.....

    Are you dragging and dropping the MIDi file or are your using the import menu to import the MIDI file. Try the one you didn't do and see.

    If that doesn't work and it probably wont, i'm guessing this particular MIDI file is corrupt some way or has some sort of info that is fruoking with Sonar

    Dragging and importing
    Was working fine yesterday
    Today
    Well......no work done.
