Help!? Juno Pulse missing

I had a major problem with Sonar and ended up having to totally wipe Windows7 and reinstall Sonar X1 - but now one of my projects loads with the message "Multisample Not Found Juno 60 Pulse.sfz".

I think this relates to a missing sample for Dimension Pro but I can't work out why it no longer exists as it must have been included in part of my original Sonar package otherwise I wouldn't have had it in the first place?!!

I started on Sonar 8.5 then upgraded to Sonar X1 and then Expanded.

Where has this file gone and how do I get it back, (I have searched hard drive with no luck)?!

Any ideas/help would be great

Thanks

I would only be guessing but I think there are some additional DimPro libraries on the 8.5 additional content disk based on this thread http://forum.cakewalk.com.m.aspx?m=2155197&mpage=1 . The "Juno 60 Pulse.sfz" is part if the Digital Sound Factory Keys. It is not part of the normal DimPro installation so it must be part of the extra stuff bundled with 8.5. When I installed X1 on my new machine, I just merged by Rapture and DimPro files from my old 8.5 installation into the new X1, so it has been years since I performed an actual 8.5 install.

Thanks scook - that could be what happened and would explain why something I had has disappeared after I did a clean install, (went straight from X1 without re-installing 8.5)

Looks like a bit of a nightmare to get the additional content libraries back up and running from that link but will have to give it a go as the track really hinged on that sound!

Many thanks again for your help!

It should not be too bad, but you will probably need do to a minimal install of 8.5 to get at the additional content disk.

it's on the additional disk.. someone was missing samples the other day..

*BUT* the emu "full" ones aren't on the programs.. there are examples.. I think they forgot to delete that when finalising it before pressing the disk

Guys,

Thanks for the help/advice - it was actually very simple in the end, and I have the sound back and am able to continue working on the project - such a relief!!
All I did was get the original set of 4 Discs that came when I bought Sonar 8.5, "Additional Content" was on Disc 4 of 4, so I installed the sound libraries content (but not the other demo projects stuff) to the correct file path, (e.g. C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Dimension Pro), and when I reloaded the Project DiPro automatically picked up the right multisample with out me even having to search for it!

I must admit to being a little surprised that in 'upgrading' to X1 it didn't include this previously available content?! But I will now know for future clean installs. I'm about to install X2 so hopefully this won't happen again!

Hope this of use to anyone else who has lost vital sounds for their projects after re-installing from 8.5 to X1/X2!

Many thanks again!
