Help! Just updated ASIO drivers for Audiobox USB and nothing works in Sonar!
I can't figure this out! Reinstalled, uninstalled, cleaned reg, nothing is working :\ inputs arent picking up any sound, outputs not playing imported music. Anyone else having trouble with this update? I'm running Sonar X1 Producer on Windows 7 all updated on a 64x machine.

...and you have checked all the settings in the Preferences dialogue? Recording- and playback timing master etc. and only Audiobox selected? The settings can sometimes slip off even though you don't do anything to them.
SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre - Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc. The benefit of being a middle aged amateur is the low number of years of frustration ahead of you.

Did Windows recognize the Audiobox? Check the Windows Device Manager in the Sounds section. If you're running Windows 7 64-bit, then you must have the 64-bit drivers for the Audiobox.

I'm having the same problem. Updated the drivers for my audiobox usb and blam... nothing works in sonar. I contacted support and they said they no longer support 8.0 pro. thanks a lot guys. Windows says the device is working fine. Kontakt works just fine stand alone (after turning the device on) It works fine everywhere except Sonar. When I first ran sonar it asked me to select the midi device I was using. I selected my audiobox, both input and output. But when I try to run a project it gives me an error message that says my audio device is either not compatible with the project or is running somewhere else. Very frustrating as I have never had a problem before with this.

Oh yeah... I checked to make sure the update was windows 7 sv1 64bit compatible. According to Presonus it is, so that shouldn't be a problem.

What do you have selected in Options-Audio-Drivers? Usually that message indicates that you don't have ASIO mode selected. Check Options-Audio-Advanced.

Sorry to necro this thread but I forgot I had posted here. I'm currently in discussion with a Presonus customer service rep and I will be uploading the conversation with him as soon as we find a resolution. Hopefully this will provide aid to others who are having the same issue.
