Help ? ..My notes I write in on the piano roll dont make sounds ?
Im using Sonar producer 8,5.3 .... I write in the notes on the piano roll using addictive drums as my drum software and if I use the select tool or curser and click on them they make the proper sounds ,,,However on the playback they make no sounds ? ...If I copy the clip and move it into a new application of add. drums in a new midi track and do the same thing everything works fine ...Ive tried tons of different things and I cant solve the problem in the original track ....The problem is not in my drum software ...it has to be in the piano roll sittings ? I think ?

Hi. I think this might be a routing issue. Is your MIDI track routed to Addictive Drums, Channel 1? Best of luck.

Its weird cause im pretty good with all of this midi stuff... but this is driving me crazy ? ...if I right the notes for example on a certain part of the midi clip and click on them I hear them ...but on the play back they don't sound and I believe all my routing is correct ? ...

I think I've had similar things happen to me in the past a couple of times, I can't remember if it was exactly the same though. It might have been like you say - clicking on the notes sounded them but they didn't play back, or clicking on the keyboard on the left side of the PRV sounded the notes but clicking them didn't...or some combination of all this. Can't remember how I resolved it, sorry. I may have just given up and started a new track.

I would remove my "best answer", as it is not solved. It will attract more people if you do (I think). All the best.

Are you sure you are editing a clip in the midi track that is feeding AD?
