Help Please Lost Midi devices

Please someone help me.
Things have been working fine. I'm using a dell latitude laptop, edirol ua-4fx.

All of a sudden today, for no apparent reason I lost my midi devices selection of the ua-4fx . WTF?

The ua-4fx doesn't show up as a choice at all.

Yet the computer can see it. I can use winamp, etc with no problem.

I re-installed the ua-4fx driver. Very straightforward. No issues.

Re-install Sonar?

Someone please help.

Thanks,

Brian

    Brian,

Go to Options > MIDI Devices and make sure the UA-4 is selected and moved to the top of selected devices. click Ok and let us know if everything is operating again

bapost - that has happened to me in the past. If you have already re-installed drivers then try shutting down entire system - all midi devices as well as computer (do not simply just exit sonar) - and restart Sonar making sure that your midi device is ON before you start Sonar. This has worked for me before - give it a shot.

    Good Luck!
