Help! Sonar Platinum file crashed, now won't reopen

Anyone got any ideas for this?

I'm in Sonar Platinum, Lexington, on Windows 10.   I was working in a file today when Sonar crashed.  The file was saved mere moments before it crashed.  Since crashing, that file will not reopen.   Instead, Sonar freezes halfway into launching and stops responding.   I am able to open, play, and modify other Sonar files without any problem.

The file has 2 audio tracks with audio; 3 instances of Dimension Pro; 1 instance of EZDrummer2; 1 instance of True Pianos; and 1 instance of Kontakt 5 running SonicCouture's Vibraphone.

Even if the system is somehow overloaded by all the VST instruments, I need to be able to open the file to do something about it.  As it is, I cannot open the file and thus can't do anything to lighten the load.  I'm getting a little freaked out as the file contains weeks of work.

Sounds like it might be a corrupted plugin......

Have you tried opening up the file in Safe mode (hold down shift while opening it).  This will allow you to bypass plugins one by one until you find the culprit. My stab in the dark possibility is Kontakt 5

You sir are a great help!  I didn't know Safe Mode existed, but it totally worked.   It appears that EZDrummer2 was the problem.   Thank you so much!
