Look at your Audio Driver Settings in Preferences.
You want to see a Total Roundtrip Latency of 20ms or less. Greater than that, and you will have a perceptible delay when you have Input Monitoring turned on.
Your Focusrite probably has direct monitoring, so the delayed signal is causing a doubling effect.
You don't necessarily need Input Monitoring turned on. It depends on what you are doing.
If you are using VST effects, or soft synths, you need it.
If you are recording the Korg dry, the direct monitoring may be all you need, and you can turn Input echo off.
