Help - Veteran User de-evolved into Noobie!

Hi
I have been using Cakewalk products since they were first released on an abacus - or close to that far back.

I have been busy with work and only got the X1B update installed last night.

I had numerous freezes in X1A.  I figured X1B would fix them.  No dice.  No roulette either.

Work has kept me away from the DAW a bunch and I guess I went totally brain dead last night.

I want this to work.

Delete AUD.INI?  What else would you suggest?  Other than that, is there a way to make it have to reconfigure everything?

BTW - trouble brews whenever I use a plugin (getting clocked by latest version of Kontakt last night and BFD Geist).

My system
i7 3.2G, 12GB RAM, 7(? somewhere in there with external backups) GB disk - 4 internal and 2 external, UAD 2 Quad, RME FF800 (2), MOTU MTPAV, Novation Automap latest version with a Nocturn thingy, Alpaca Track from Frontier Designs, and a solid gold kama sutra coffee pot...Stuff like that.

Running 64bit Win 7 super deluxe besto version whichever that is.  Not using any 32 bit plugs in the things that were killing me last night - so not J bridge or whatever.

Tanks!

Oh and I am super serial.  This is not an April Mules joke.

Some people call me Maurice
