Help can't reinstall
So I unistalled Sonar X-1, Sonar 8.5, and Sonar 8 to try and clean up my files, and control where they are going. Now trying to reinstall Sonar 8.5, and it says
"Cannot locate the required version of the program on this system. Please resinstall the correct version of the program to use this patch"
But what I'm trying to install from is just Sonar Producer 8.5, downloaded straight from the store.
I thought the file system was frustarting, but not being able to install even more so, lol.

Nobody has any ideas?
I've tried going through the registry and deleting stuff but that hasn't seemed to help either.

You can't install the downloaded version of 8.5 without installing version 8 first.

Which isn't a download option for me even though it shows my SN, lol.
I do see a trial version of Sonar 8, maybe if I install that and authorize it?
Oh what a mess I've made.

Well, I submited a email yesterday to customer service asking for help with a version 8 download because I don't seem to have access (even though I own it), and I really want to get 8.5 reinstalled.
I can barely even run through piano exercises in X1 without dropouts. IE 1 battery, 1 vst piano, 20ms latency still hicups while playing.

There never was a version 8 download. You have to use your disks from Cakewalk.

I would, I dont think it will double up existing files but just install what not already there. You paid for it, better to have it than not if ya need it later.
