Help creating a pitch riser in sonar ?

I'd like to know if and how I could achieve this pitch riser effect in the video within sonar ? Is it possible without extra plugs and if so how ?

https://www.waves.com/plu...-mixing-different-bpms

Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

You should be able to use Z3ta classic to create a pitch rise.

You could use a one shot saw up LFO with its phase set to 180° to modulate the pitch of one of the oscillators (or all if you like).  In the modulation matrix you can adjust the range.  I suggest you use a curve of "PITCH 4 OCT"

You could use MULTI mode for the oscillators to thicken it up a bit.  Also put a bit of reverb on the effects to give it a bit of space.

    Experiment with the paramters

I used Z3ta 2 to do the above but all this could be doable in Z3ta classic

    Hope that helps.

This brings back the old tv cartoons "vocal pitch raiser."...... Just sell an automated foot, lever mounted on wall at rear of User's desk, just below waist high, to electro-mechanically extend in upward arc when that higher pitch is needed. (would that be a new type of foot-switch?) Bingo, instant higher pitch followed by the need to sit for a while with your head between your knees (for those that played HS football).

*Hey, I wasn't the only one thinking that.

And then I realised you may have meant a real time pitch increaser.  No Sonar Platinum does not come with one.  You would need a third party VST for that.  One that comes to mind is Meldaproduction MTransformer

Thanks, plug looks perfect for the type of effect/s I'm looking for, price is not so perfect, the waves one is on special at the moment at a third of the price but that melda one does frequency shift and some other interesting stuff too, maybe if I wait it will be on special. Shame sonar doesn't have anything to achieve the same or similar effect.

Every weak, Meldaproduction chooses 4 of their plugins that they offer for 50% off.  If you wait, this one's turn for a discount will eventually come around.  Who knows, maybe the next round of discounts will include this one.  You can also demo any of their plugins for a few days (not sure how many as I just bought it when it was on special)

I'll keep my eyes peeled, they have some cool stuff, already downloaded the free bundle last night which includes a frequency shifter but no pitch shifter.
