Help creating this vocal effect/techniqe!

Hellooo everyone, im currently working on a song of my own and im looking to make the vocals like that of this song:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usR7mMHUhlY

its owl city, and im almost trying to copy it exactly. I dont have a bad voice, I know how to sing, I just like the 'electronic style' that it has. It might be a slight cher/t pain effect, but defintly not as intense, i dont want it to be some crappy autotuned vocal track -.-

any help is appreciated!

    Sounds like a vocal track with 75% dry, 25% wet autotune. It's still autotune, even if it's not that intense. I might be wrong though.

    Check out my band's song on YouTube!

    Yeap...Auto-Tune.

    Sounds like the retune speed and natural vibrato setting are being automated to adjust the amount of effect that's heard during certain phrases.  The rest of the settings seem static.

    Good luck...

    Try using V-Vocal on your vocal track - reduce the vibrato to almost zero using the LFO tool.

    @Dave -

    Since I own Auto-Tune, I don't often use V-Vocal.  Are those (or any) of the parameters have full automation functionality?

    What do you mean 75% dry 25% wet autotune?

    I have autotune 5, but I dont know how to use it ahaaa. Well I do know how to use it to an extent, I have messed around with the cher effect for fun but I dont know how to use it to make it sound... well decent in any way.

    If I try to correct vocals with it, things usually just get messed up. When I look at tutorials on some autotune settings, ALL I get are t-pain related ones hahahaaaa.

    oh my xD

    I've only used in graphic mode, when used this way just to touch up a few notes, you can't tell it's being used.
