Help - how to insert an arpegiator in sonar 8

Noobie here... basic question I know, but its driving me crazy.   I know there is a built in arpegiator in sonar 8 but can't seem to find it.  I have a soft synth track using Pentagon and I want to put an arpegiator fx on it but can't find any arp in my FX list.  I have right clicked on the track FX section and all the effects and plug ins can be viewed, bit no arpegiator?  Is it located inside another soft synth or am I looking in the wrong place?

Expand your midi track in track view.
    It's there.

Expand your midi track in track view.
    It's there.

And click the ALL or FX tab at the bottom of the Track View or you won't see it there.

Thanks for the replies.  Still dont see it.  This is for a track set up as an instrument track - built in synth - when Sonar set the track up it did not insert a MIDI track just an instrument track and a track folder.  What am I missing, should there always be a MIDI track with every instrument or track?

The Simple Instrument Track is a combination of an Audio and Midi track. It does not have a built in synth. Its audio portion is partially hidden but it is still receiving output from a soft synth in the synth rack. Much of what you see in the track's controls is for the Midi portion of the track. Click and drag the bottom of the track to make it bigger so you can see the Arpeggiator. Or click the little Square in the top right corner to expand it all the way.

You can also Right click an Instrument Track and select Split Instrument Track to break it down into one Midi Track and one Audio Track.
