Help - latency issues after inserting soft synth drums

Hi, I have an incredibly frustrating issue, after I insert Soft Synth Track Templates - usually session drummer 3 the next time I come to use it I have  latency issue on all midi instruments. I open a brand new project and no latency issues at all. Any one have any ideas why? I am not changing a single midi or driver setting and like I have said if I open a new project there is no latency.

    Sounds like Plug-in Delay Compensation. IOW, some plug-ins in the project require time to process their data stream. If typing "E" or clicking the FX button in the Mix module eliminates the latency, then PDC is the culprit. Often the result of having plug-ins designed for mixing/mastering in the project while tracking. The usual suspects are compressors, linear phase EQs and IR Reverbs.

    that's it....that resolved the issue... been using master effects in the tracking. Thank you so much for your help!!!!

    so what I have been using is live kick and snare snap from the FX Chain pre-sets in drums such as kick live and snare snap which make the drums sound awesome. How can I use these without creating these issues?
