Help me plz

hey guys,
 
i m new to this forum, i hope you guys can help me. i have cakewalk pro 9.  using an audio/midi interface. when i record more than one track. and when i want add a vocal the vocal tune/tempo changes sounds funny any suggestion plz.

    Check that the sampling rate and bit depth of the interface and Cakewalk are the same.

    thanx greg i will try that. wondering if what is updated version of cakewalk pro 9. i downloaded this version for free anything else there with a bit more features.
