    In certain zoom levels?
..Sounds very strange.. Sounds more like a bug than an X1b-update anyway.. :/

    What happens then?
You select the notes you want to quantize and press the "q" key..
    Then what? ..Nothing? =/

If you're talking about snapping to grid by dragging, it's probably ye olde Magnetic Strength confusion. Go to preferences, and set it Off so events can only land exactly on the grid.

So what happens if you close the PRV window and apply quantize from the track view. Does it make a difference?
Seems like you are saying quantize is being affected by the PRV; or in other words the quantizing algorithm passes through the PRV GUI along with its values.

Saying so, there is also the Staff View and the Event List View which shows and can edit midi data.

We can say a Cakewalk programmer will not come on and detail coding techniques.

Welcome to the U.S., my friend. My wife's family is Cuban on her mother's side, and she writes on various facets of the Cuban diaspora, especially as it relates to artists working in exile. She is in New York as we speak, interviewing artists, and picking up some work for an exhibition of Cuban art she is bringing to Colorado.

Thanks brundlefly, but now I found a funny things, when working a bit with the snap to grid (in the piano roll)the magnetic strengths goes back to High automatically in the preferences, thats really strange!
