Help needed: Software instruments not playing MIDI notes correctly

I set up my homestudio in our new house and started to work on some unfinished projects. Just to find out that something weird had happened during the time my homestudio was in storage.

My homestudios DAW is sonar 8 .

The MIDI notes arent playing on any software drum machine (or synth) when I start playback. Only the note that is on the cursor when playback starts is played. When I push the individual notes in piano roll, the signal goes through and the corresponding cell/drum sound is played. Every note works when not in playback or record.

So there must be some button or setting that im missing because the MIDI Is working in general, only the playback-part is "broken"... And im going crazy for not noticing where the error/button/setting is. Everything worked just fine in the old homestudio. Nothing has changed. I ran the same updates and drivers to the computer that it had before.

PLEASE HELP!! Im hopless after the hours Ive searched for an answer.
