Help none of my midi controllers are working

I have an M-Audio keystation 49e and akai mpd18 that I am trying to use with midi. It was working fine before then suddenly they stopped responding. I am stuck! I uninstalled and reinstalled...the instruments are powered and found by my computer and software but does not respond when I push keys or the pads.

which version of music creator do you have?

did you go to the MIDI DEVICES and make sure they are checked for inputs?  do they show up as the INPUT to the track you're trying to record on?

can you elaborate on the details of what you're doing or trying to do?

Version of MC and also the operating system on the computer is important.

MIDI is a interface, not a magical connection to fame and stardom.
It is really easy to overload, what you need is a good primer book on basic midi etiquette!

What on earth are you trying to say?? :o/ If you're just a selltroll, you forgot the link to the book you're trying to sell. If you don't have anything to say, please don't say it here.

The first line is a given,  but totally useless statement.

I have never had any issues with overloading midi..... and while I have seen a ton of books and online info about how to work with MIDI.......I didn't know that anyone has written a book on "MIDI Etiquette" .... I'm guessing you probably meant to say MIDI Techniques..... ya?

Maybe you're just trying to help, and we certainly appreciate that here, because that's what we're all about..... however, I didn't see the usefulness of making those comments and then telling them to get a book  and go read it.

That's generally not the response we try to give. When people come here for help it's usually because they have already tried most other options including reading the manual/book which can be difficult for a new user to figure out..... they turn to us because we can normally help them accomplish what they are trying to do, by pointing them in the right direction.
