Help!! song loads but wont play

I have one project that loads but wont let me make any adjustments . Im thinking its the cake walk pitch shifter plug in that i have inserted on one track .Its flashing and the numbers are randomly changing .Any way to remove or disable the plug in ?  Any help is much appreciated . hate to to lose the song . oya im using x1 expanded 64

    Try bouncing the track that has the pitch shifter on it.


    All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

    I can't access any controls . The only way I can get out of the song is to shut down the computer . Every other project works fine . I  moved the project from my lap top to my
    Main computer and have the same problem .i disabled the plugin in the plug in manager and that didn't work either .

    Open the project in Safe Mode (hold shift whilst opening) and when you get to the pitch shifter, choose not to load it.

    Then save the project with a new name

    thanks Bristol safe mode did the trick .it was the pitch shift plug in .  all is well in cake land once again . first time ive ever had a problem .
