Help with Down Load PLZ

OK Been at it ALL day and on 5th attempt at getting it installed without currupt file errors or what ever else it throws out.
My email shows links to (02_...  thru 05_...). It doesnt have the 01_READ FIRST link. See Below

01_READ_FIRST_SONAR_X1.exe                                    47,257KB      ~46MB
02_SONAR_X1_Producer.part1.exe                           3,072,000KB     ~2.9GB
02_SONAR_X1_Producer.part2.rar                            2,610,558KB     ~2.5GB     03_Beatscape_1_0_2.part1.exe                               3,072,000KB     ~2.9GB
03_Beatscape_1_0_2.part2.rar                                1,108,303KB     ~1.1GB
04_Dimension_Pro_1.5_Expansion_Packs.zip             201,623KB     ~197MB
04_Dimension_Pro_1_5_Setup.exe                          3,067,450KB     ~2.9GB
05_SONAR_X1_Producer_Additional_Content.exe    2,230,176KB     ~2.1GB

First, new computer didnt have an UnZip program so I installed it when I found it after getting thru the 02_...rar file download.  I have now attempted to download 02...rar file 3 times thinking this is where the file prob occurs but not sure. Should these all be downloaded to the same folder and Unzip themselfes after running the first .exe program or ???  and do ya think think the missing 01_READ FIRST file is causing problems.

Next, I dont think I can order the box set cause I cant get in to register this without it loading to let me order and just do a clean install from the DVDs.

Where should I start with trying to get this installed and as much as I hate to say it, I dont mind going back to step 1 if it is promising.

I know its gotta be something Im doing but Im just not sure and have little experience with multiple files and .rar downloads and getting them to all install as one.

After "purchasing" the upgrade in the store, your copy of X1 should automatically be registered with Cakewalk as part of the checkout process.

You can get your serial number and registration code as needed to install by logging into your account page. Unfortunately, it sometimes takes quite awhile for them to show up on your account page.

All the files should be downloaded into the same folder and left unzipped (except for the Dimension pro expansion packs. See below.) All you need to do is run the .exe files and it will take care of the rest.

Run them in order: SONAR_X1 first, Beatscape second,  Dimension Pro third, and then finally the Additional Content. Note that the Additional Content may require that you have Dimension Pro installed and properly registered. Also, you will have to manually unzip the Dimension Pro expansion packs yourself and install them after you install Dimension Pro.

    Cheers!

OK, Im thru for today. 12 hours worth of attempts downloading with NO luck and Im pretty sure its just me.  Ill call tomorrow and see if I can explain and get the DVDs to do the install even though it says I have to be registered X1 downloader to get the deal.

This last attempt left me at corrupt file (.wav) in one of the loops, I forget-brain is toast now. Ill check back tomorrow. Have a gr8 night every1 and congrats to those who have made it thru this. Hope to join ya soon.

Oh Thanks a bunch mountaincruz, yeh I got the email resent this morning cause the original order in November was messed up. They took care of me on all matters as far as the orders went. My email sounds a lil different than others missing that READ FIRST .exe  file and of course my lack of knowledge LOL.  I will try yours in the morning with a fresh cup of coffee. Think I should remove everything and start from scratch also?    :( 2 hour dowloads   ughhhhh

This download is BRUTAL! I've never had an issue with downloading any large 1GB plus files before and I can get even 1 of these installments to complete. Keeps locking up at different points.  What's the secret!?!  Are the servers just overwhelmed right now?!!

Perhaps a download manager would help. Try FreeDownloadManager.org.

If you're using dialup.... forget it and order the box set.
If you have DSL, depends on the speed.
Cable modem is best although it took me 5 hours for the 3GB files and the download site timed out so I couldn't let them run all night because when it went to the second file, the Cakewalk site wanted me to sign on again.

Downloading the other files now using Google Chrome and that seems faster.

Good Morning all, Have fresh coffee and good night rest and ready to try again.
I checked the site on the download manager Dave, Thanks but I have one worry, I only see one that lists (32 bit version ONLY). Is it working OK on your Win7 64 or did you find a different. Thanks, Ill be patiently waiting to hear back after you get ur coffee with this thing still downloading.

on windows 7 you should find a program files x86 folder. You you should be able to run 32 bit programs no problem. AT the moment I'm using the free download manager on w7 64, not had any issues so far.

So its 12:11 pm, Just got thru putting X1.exe, .rar and additional content into own folder on desk top.  Started the install on X1.exe and here we are back at this error---

    C:\Cakewalk Content\Audio Library\One Shots\Loopmasters\2020_VISION DEEP TECH HOUSE and TECHNO\2020_DD_FX2.wav

An error occured while trying to copy a file:
    The source file is corrupted.

Click Retry to try again..........  etc

I feel like Im done, Cant take anymore for the year.      GGGRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I tried the IGNORE which was not recommended to see what happened-Looks like all sounds, never made it to the end of it so I aborted, rolled back and here I sit.

OMG, After all that this morning @12:10, I started the old file again that was corrupt instead of this mornings download.  After gathering my thoughts and a fresh cup of coffee, I clicked on the latest download and looks like its all going OK now. So in the end, all of your help and suggestions payed off.  THANKS GUYS

The only thing I had was Guitar Rig 4 Drivers? I have GR3 now but it installed automatically with the Porducer Software and works gr8. I didnt know what to do with GR4 driver so I cancelled that part of the install.  Hope I can go back if its a prob.

Just forgot to delete one file and wouldnt ya know that would be the one youd grab.

Hopefully this will keep me busy until I get the set in the mail to do a good reinstall and clean this thing back up
