Help with Mac

Hey there everyone!  New to the foums but have been using Sonar for years.  I am in the process of buying a new computer and will be going with a Mac this time.   My worry is that I have no idea how to get all of the files I have built up over the years on my Sonar programs moved over and how to use Sonar on a Mac?  Has anyone done this before, sorry for the newbie type questions, but any suggestions would be incredibly helpful!

Thanks!

You have to use 'boot camp' which you load windows and sonar on.
essentially making the mac a PC.

    ASUS P8P67, i7-2600K, CORSAIR 16GB, HIS 5450, 3 Samsung SSD 850, Win7 64, RME AIO.

In my opinion, though quite a few have been successful with Boot Camp as I have myself, I personally don't recommend it. If you go MAC, you want to go with programs that were really made for the MAC. In that case, I'd recommend PT 10 for ease of use...Logic is even better but there's a pretty steep learning curve. You can try Boot Camp and Sonar...quite a few have made it work. But, what's the use of getting a MAC if you're only turning it into a pc? It sort of defeats the purpose in my opinion. I would have went with a Jim Roseberry custom pc and never worry about Windows issues again in your DAW. I'll put my JR box running Sonar up against any MAC and DAW of choice....but that's just me. Good luck. :)
