Help with an audio card.

Hi Guys,

Been out of the game for a while and trying to get back in to music again and had a question about audio cards.

I have the EMU 0404 audio card and was happy with it for years, but its PCI and a lot of new motherboards don't take PCI. from what I'm seeing there aren't much PCIe cards out there and I see a lot of USB interfaces.

I don't record audio so i don't need any recording options. Just want something that will give me clean good audio out to my monitors.

I use a midi keyboard so the lower the latency the better. My current setup is coming out from my EMU 0404 to quarter inch L and R and to my mixer quarter inch and then to the monitors quarter inch. What new card or interface would you recommend that will give me the out's to go to my mixer and have a low latency when using the MIDI keyboard with VST's. Price range up to $200

This may sound like heresy but reading about the upcoming release of SONAR http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR&language=3&help=NewFeatures.005.html you may want to save your money and try the PC sound chip especially if your are running Win10.
