Help with midi keyboard suddenly not working in Sonar

Hi. Hope someone can help as I can't figure this out. My Komplete Kontrol S88, suddenly is not registering in Sonar. It works okay in using Kontact or Machine in Standalone. It also works in Samplitude Pro X3, but for the life of me, I can no longer get it working in Sonar. the midi devices for it are all selected, input echo etc. Usually to get it working on a VST instrument, I would load the synth, select KK - 1 and it works. None of the hardware controls on the keyboard are working either...like transport, record etc.
 
I had also had Mixbus on my system and uninstalled that. 
 
Can anyone one offer some problem solving ideas please?

Hey, thanks for that. I did a little more experimentation and found that that the VS-100 controller doesn't seem to be working anymore for the keyboard for some unknown reason. Once I selected ACT MIADI Controller, I had at least keyboard basic connection for my vst instruments, but can no longer select play, stop, record on the S88 itself. 
 
Is there a controller you'd recommend for the S88?

Hi guys. Thanks for your support. I don't know why this suddenly stopped working but it just did. Weird as I had set this up ages ago. Turns out the solution was: 
setting up the a Controller Surface as VS-100. Then I choose Komplete Kontrol S -DAW 1 as input and as output. I had been choosing KK - S - 1 which just doesn't work. All good again and thanks for responding. Cheers
