Help with notes hanging?!

I am so confused by this... I really wish there was a way to fix it... sorry if this is the wrong forum to be posting but here is my situation. I have tried this with both my old Cakewalk Music Creator 3, and my new Cakewalk Sonar 6... all thought i had hoped Sonar 6 would have solved this problem for me it seems this is either a hardware issure or a software issue....

When using EWQLSO Gold, and only this sample library, depending on when my tempo track has a decrease or increase in tempo corresponding to when a note is first hit, certain notes will hang and carry on playing until i press stop. It happens less frequently when i play just a few tracks at once, but i sometimes it happens even when i shut down ALL other selected patches and am only using like 80 megs of RAM space out of 2 gigs.... on just a single track.... Why does this happen? How can i fix it? Surely there must be other people who have encountered this dilema.

My CPU never peaks during this, my RAM comes no where near being over-run with samples.

On another note, I do not know if this is of the same problem or not, but sometimes, when i am recording my track into a single WAVE file through cakewalk, it experiences DROPOUTS, and even during playback when i start in an intensive polyphonic and loud part. Is this to do with my Sound Card not being able to provide a true full duplex mode? I have my latency set quite low for good playback, around 10ms and i believe it goes as low as 5ms.....

My current setup is a AM2 MOBO w/ AM264 3500+ CPU, 2 gigs of 533mhz DDR2 ram, 2 10,000 rpm IDE HD's, Sound Blaster Audigy 2 zs pro
