Here Is N.Y. (9/11 Tribute)

Hi,

An online musician friend of mine, Stephan Beneking, came up with the idea of a 'crowdpiano' project.

In his words:
"This is a global remembrance project as a tribute to the thousands of innocent people who died on 9/11 and the many thousands that died thereafter. The idea is to create step by step a collection of musical statements by "artists against terror" and to give everybody the chance to express his/her individual tribute - simply by playing this relatively easy piece on the piano or by arranging it with other instruments."

If you find merit in his idea I'd encourage you to visit https://soundcloud.com/stephan-beneking/sets/here-is-ny-9-11-open-collab where you can download the short piece of music to base your interpretation on and listen to other interpretations.

In the meantime, here's a link to my effort to put into music the feelings that memories of that day bring:

Regards,
Terry.

Terry, That was an awesome piece of work and I have downloaded both Stephen and yours. I just might see what I can come up with considering both pieces. Very great idea and you did a wonderful thing with your collaboration piece. Thanks for sharing this.

I'm just gonna say nice job Terry, but honestly I didn't listen to much of your recording.  What I did hear was very professional, and very dramatic.  But I turned it off because I'm just not going to go there again, having been there in person 12 years ago.
