Here's one

A BeeeeeeGeeeeeeeees favorite. I heard Peter White do a version and I wanted to do one too for some strange reason.

Guitar music, what's not to like?  I like the arrangement, in fact this is the nicest arrangement I've heard of this tune.  Tasteful backing that doesn't distract from the melody and the guitar.  Love the little glissendo.  :)  Very pretty.  Well done.

I really like this arrangement! Then again, I like the song period, so any arrangement would do.

Have you heard Luther Vandross' cover? (may he RIP) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQsLrMbRNaI

I really love the intro and outro here! I won't harp on anything or string you along. (Ahem)

    Again, nice arrangement!

    Played fine though!

A really good arrangment. Very well done!

It's a good thing you didn't try to sing this. You would have had to go down to the hardware store to get yourself you very own pair of Bee Gee's signiture series Vice Grips! lol!

    Excellent work!

    Tim,

Great job, arrangement, playing and production are outstanding.   It is tough re-doing these types of classics as instrumentals without making them sound like supermarket music but you definitely pulled it off.  Have listened about 4 times now, love the guitar tone and bluesy guitar licks.

What a fine arrangement and playing is sweeter than the original! Really Great Stuff!!!!
I'm just rediscovering the BEEGEE's myself. I couldn't listen to them as a kid because there stuff was so overplayed on the radio that it made on nauseous to listen to.

Thanks Manny. Kind of you to say.
Thanks spacealf. Yea, tamborine. You know, so there's a Beet....
Ha Robert.. Yea, out of my range.
    Thanks Mgh.
Thanks Mark. I do tend to have a fondness for elevator music. Today's elevator music was once yesterday's hip music. Just can't catch up I guess.
Thanks Tap. Yea, I always appreciated the BeeGees. Only "liked" a few tunes. This is one of them.

Ok... when I saw Bee Gees.... I almost passed on it. (sticks finger in mouth...gagging)

    BUT!

Man I really enjoyed the version you have here. The guitar has a warm and intimate sound. Tasteful playing.

Timidi - your mixes and production are one of the reasons that I've never had the confidence to post on this forum before, because they are always outstanding, and make me realise how far I have to go. Having said that you also inspire me to keep going as well.

This like all the others I've ever listened to from you is that - outstanding.

Finally....somethin you can't do....! I was lookin forward to your take on the vox as I've been workin on a BGs cover myself af late and having the obvious difficulties with getting a reasonable sounding vocal.

So having proved that you are human after all - I have to say that the rest is mighty fine. No crits here, though I may have to bin my attempt now lol !

Thanks Herb. What is it about the BG's that can evoke such a feeling. I
    love their puke inducing thang.

Thanks BIAB. there's some of that biab in there somewhere.

Thanks Karl. don't quite know what to say to your flattering yet sad comment. 'Just do it' as the slogan goes. That's how you learn. Bunch of great folks here to help you out. I just do what I do. And, been doing it quite a while I guess.

Thanks paulo. Ha. yea, the high stuff doesn't work too good these days. I look forward to your BG rendition. That's quite an endevor to undertake.
