Here's What Happens When an 18 Year Old Buys a Mainframe

I've only gotten through half of this so far but it's been very entertaining so far....great kid.

    He's getting that stuff surprisingly cheap. A mainframe is worth a few grand just for the gold in it.
     
    Note that those cabinets are standard 19" racks with power distribution and fans. Kill the fans and they'll work great in a studio.


    All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

    It sounds like gas was his biggest expense here.
