Here's one I'll be curious to hear, coming 08/19...

They caught me off guard a little while ago with their two most recent releases - I can't say that I was expecting much from them, having lost interest in the mid 80s, following the release of the disappointing Russian Roulette.

I assumed that they could only be back to re-ash the old stuff, but that wasn't the case. They seriously rock.

Is Udo singing for them again?

Unfortunately, no. Mark Tornillo is singing for them, and does a fairly good job, though Udo was quite unique.

Had time tonight so I got this one and, although I do miss Udo, this is some really good stuff!  Had me moving even though I've only had a few hours of sleep and woke up around 2:30am (it's 6:15am now and I'm on my second listen).

Yep, I'm happy!

Haven't had the chance to listen yet. But if it's anything like the last two, it'll be worth it. I just saw they're coming to Vegas next month, in a relatively small bar - might be nice. :P

Metallica should take a hit and hire the guy who worked with them on those records - Andy Sneap. He knows how to to make a metal record for sure...

Hey I found this one from UDO from 2013. I thought you might like to check it out. It sounds like he still has his range.

Cool!  When you think about it, this actually sounds more like Accept than Accept does - lol.  Never knew he had his own band, looks like I'm going to have to check out some of his albums now.
(Help!  I need more money!  Hehe...).

Yeah, I agree Craig. His voice, or maybe the uniqueness of his voice kinda defined that band. Don't get me wrong, the music on the Accept albums was great. But I just could never get into the other albums as much as the ones Udo sang on.

Fortunately, I've never been one to whine when a group makes a major change as long as they still make great music (ok, except for when Van Halen became Van Hagar).  I just treat them as if they are two different groups that I like.  Examples include Genesis, Marillion, Tangerine Dream, Journey, Fleetwood Mac, etc.
