Hey Bapsi ~ Re: I didn't know you had any influence at Line 6 ;-)

The lovely man from FedEx stopped by earlier today with Straummy's shiny new box of valves...

And wow! This is one incredible piece of kit

However, I was flicking down through the list of banks and presets it comes loaded with when I occasioned upon 'Bank 6, Preset C'

What's going on Ed!

I mean come on - it ain't exactly subtle is it

VERY COOL, Steve, congrats, I think you're really gonna love that amp!!!

I hope there wasn't a "Bapsi Royalty Fee" AND the Buoy Tax!

    Have fun, shredding brother!

    Thanks Bob!

I love the sound of my MkI Spider Valve 100W Head + Marshall Cab but it's not really that practical for home recording, so I've put that rig (with the FBV MkI Shortboard) up for sale on Ebay.

This MkII is so much more sophisticated in comparision, and I bought the MkII Shortboard to go with it. The Shortboard even controls POD Farm 2.5 on my PC!

Now all I have to do is figure out how to use it all

Yep, Steve, the 212 version is what I tested out my PRS on when I bought it, and I was really impressed after fiddling with the amp for about an hour.  Reinhold Bogner sure knows what's going on when it comes to valve amps!  I've been eyeing them up ever since, but I just bought another studio preamp, so I'm in a holding pattern on another amp for now.

It's really cool that you can control POD Farm directly from the amp, that's a feature that I've always wanted.

Enjoy exploring that beauty, Steve, I think it will be a perfect match for Good Old Ruby!

    Have a good one, buddy!

It turns out the A Minor patch is actually an intelligent harmoniser.

    Neat.

Hmmmm!  I think this would debunk any Bapu influence.

Apparently, if you know what you're doing, you can do some fiddling and set the harmoniserererer up to whatever scale/key you like.

    I think

My first experiment will be in C major I reckon.
